Grim isn’t here to play it safe—they’re here to burn it down.
What began as a jazz trio quickly mutated into something far more dangerous: a feral collision of distorted guitars, bone-rattling drums, and vocals that lunge from bloodcurdling screams to ghostly whispers. Grim channels the raw fury of early ’90s Seattle while carving out their own Midwest-flavored snarl—music soaked in truth, grit, and pure sonic thunder.
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri (the same grounds that gave the world Puddle of Mudd), Grim carries both legacy and rebellion in their DNA. Guitarist Jordan Scantlin—son of Wes Scantlin—wields his weapon of choice with unrelenting fire, while Payton Barry’s vocals rip through the noise with equal parts rage and melody, and Clifton Fitzpatrick’s drumming hits like a landslide.
Grim isn’t just another grunge act. They’re a blistering reminder that rock is alive, unhinged, and louder than ever. Step into the chaos—or get left in the silence.
